Alex Buoite Stella is an Assistant Professor of Physiology at the University of Trieste, where he teaches across medical and health science programmes and leads the Clinical Applied Physiology and Kinesiology Lab.
His research focuses on environmental and thermal physiology, the impact of climate change on health, and exercise physiology and rehabilitation. He has authored numerous scientific publications and is actively involved in national and international research projects in neurophysiology, sports science, and clinical health. He also holds several academic leadership roles, contributing to departmental governance, innovation, and study programme development.
An invited speaker at international conferences, he collaborates with elite athletes and sports organizations as a scientific consultant.
