Darjan Spudić, PhD, is an Assistant Professor and Kinesiology study program coordinator at the Faculty of Sport, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. His teaching focuses on the neuromechanics of human movement and the benefits of exercise for health maintenance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. His research expertise includes the assessment of strength and power, with an emphasis on identifying the physiological mechanisms underpinning adaptations over time. Recently, his research has focused on the effects of eccentric muscle contraction exercise and strategies to mitigate age-related loss of motor power.
