Summary: 

The Interdisciplinary Approach to Overfeeding Children and Adolescents is the result of a three-year team of experts in the fields of pediatrics, dietetics, exercise and psychological treatment. The objectives of the program are: improving the nutrition of children and adolescents; strengthen the health of the socio-economically disadvantaged by offering healthy foods under the treatment program; to increase the proportion of the conscious population eating healthy and balanced; improve the professional competence of health care professionals in the monitoring of the nutrition of children and adolescents; increase the proportion of physically active selected populations of overweight children and adolescents and their parents; offer a program to promote physical activity.

Projekt is co-financed by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Slovenia.
