Summary:

The program “Interdisciplinary approach in dealing with over-fed children and adolescents” is the result of a three-year work of a team of experts in the field of pediatrics, dietetics, motor activity and psychological treatment. The objectives of the program are: improving the nutrition of children and adolescents; to strengthen the health of socially and economically disadvantaged people by offering health-beneficial foods within the framework of the treatment program; increase the proportion of an informed population that is healthy and balanced in nutrition; to improve the professional competence of healthcare professionals in the field of monitoring the nutrition of children and adolescents; increase the proportion of physically active selected population of overweight children and adolescents; offer a program to promote physical activity.

The 95% project is co-financed by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Slovenia.
