Theory: 1. Introductory seminar • Presentation of content,
• presentation of tasks, types of examination and the rules regarding the
sport’s activities, • presentation of the system for recording attendance,
• overview the list of available motor/sports activities, • presentation of
system of evaluation of individual motor/sport activity. 2. Lectures • 24-hour
use of time ? introducing motor/sports exercise in to our daily life, ? reducing
the negative effects of a sedentary lifestyle, ? sleep optimization. • Nutrition
? macro-nutrients, ? use of nutrition apps. • Habits ? strategies for
implementing new habits, ? strategies for breaking bad habits. • Psycho-social
aspects of a healthy lifestyle ? effects of exercise on our feelings and
well-being, ? role of regular physical activity and sport in our social life.
3. Practical activities which are a part of the wider Sport UP curriculum •
Group recreation, which takes place regularly during the academic year as part
of Sport UP activities (ball games, racket games, skiing, etc.). • Guided
training organized as part of Sport UP activities: ? Group guided exercise,
which is regularly performed during the academic year (yoga, Pilates, strength
training, swimming, etc.), ? Sports workshops that are organized one or more
times during the academic year (running, salsa dancing, rowing, climbing, Nordic
walking, preparing for skiing, etc.), ? Group trips (hikes, cycling trips,
etc.).
