1. BASICS OF QUALITY AND SAFETY IN NURSING CARE
Quality development in health security, health care quality assessment system; legal basis in the field of quality and safety in Slovene health security; structures and organizations covering a system of quality and safety in health care and nursing care; methods of quality assessment, improvement principles; Ways of introducing changes in health care, standardization of quality system, the role of education in the field of health care quality and safety, evaluating and measuring own work, results, and transparency of work, and processes, the role of patients and relatives in ensuring quality and safety
2. PATIENT’S SAFETY
Medical error, warning dangerous events, safety complications, serious health damage, reporting system of warning hazardous events, safety rounds, security talks, protection of patient’s data, safe usage of medicines, employees’ safety in nursing care and health security, reporting and internal audit, and patient’s satisfaction with health care services, ways of solving gaps.
