The University of Primorska celebrates anniversaries of its existence every year during the week around March 17, as it was on March 17, 2003, that it was entered into the Court Register. Thus, every year, the UP Week takes place, within which there is always an Annual Academy where UP awards prizes to all who have contributed to the reputation, development, and success of the university through their work or activities.

At the 21st Annual Academy this year, two representatives of the UP Faculty of Health Sciences are among the recipients.

Assistant Professor Dr. Žiga Kozinc received the Solemn Charter of the University of Primorska for his significant contribution to the development of UP in all areas of its operation, as well as outstanding scientific research productivity and excellence significantly above average.

Lana Erjavec received the UP Prze for UP Students for 2023 for exceptional active involvement in academic and extracurricular activities at UP and for advocating for the students’ voice.
