UP FVZ is a place where students can exchange ideas, broaden their perspectives, acquire new knowledge, and make discoveries. At the same time, they build lifelong friendships and a strong sense of community through the various extracurricular activities organised by the UP FVZ Student Council, the Student Organisation of the University of Primorska (ŠOUP), and numerous student societies and clubs. Students can choose from a wide range of sporting, recreational, cultural, and social activities. These include recreational sports programmes provided by SportUP, social gatherings, freshman events, and the traditional StartUP event, which marks the beginning of the academic year and welcomes new students to university life.

In the framework of ŠOUP there is also organised the ESN (Erasmus Students Network) which takes care of incoming students and helps them to integrate into a new environment. For more details visit www.esn.org.
