Abstract:

The InoTeZ project – Innovative with technology to knowledge was selected within the framework of the call “Integration of the Use of Information and Communication Technology in the Higher Education Pedagogical Process”, which was announced by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Slovenia. The call was carried out in the framework of the “Operational Program for the Implementation of the European Cohesion Policy for the period 2014-2020”.

The Operational Program promotes flexible forms of learning and supports the quality career orientation of learners at all levels of the education system (Objective: 10.1.3). The InoTeZ project is mainly financed from the European Social Fund (80%), while the difference is provided by Slovenia. Similar projects are also carried out at the University of Ljubljana and the University of Maribor.

The activities of the InoTeZ project were launched by University of Primorska in May 2017 and will be completed in September 2020. At that time, the project group, which includes representatives of all pedagogical members of UP, will create conditions that will enable teachers and students to use information and communication technologies efficiently ( ICT) in the pedagogical process. The main objectives of the project are to establish a unified technical and pedagogical-didactic support, which will be available to higher education teachers, colleagues and students even after the completion of the project. By integrating ICT into the pedagogical process, a modern and student work will be put in place, which will prepare for the quality assurance of pedagogical work.
In the InoTeZ project, we follow the guidelines of the European Commission after the opening of education in 2013. Within the framework of the InoTeZ project, a number of freely available materials are created for students of the UP and also for the general public. All materials will be available at the Open UP portal (https://odprtaup.upr.si/) during the implementation, and especially after the project is completed. Through the annual Lastovka UP conference, which will take place during the Open Learning Week (https://www.openeducationweek.org/), we will exchange good practice and spread it to other teachers and other interested public.

The project is funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport and the European Social Fund of the European Union.
