Description
Course content will be dependent on the goals and background knowledge of the doctoral student. In-depth seminars will focus on at least 3 of the following health field topics:
• Hydration for peak performance
• Respiratory physiology in health and disease
• Thermoregulation in hot environments
• Zero gravity or low-gravity physiology
• Cerebrovascular function in hypoxia
• Environmental factors in the workplace
• Cold physiology (frostbite, non-freezing cold injury)
• Hypobaric physiology, diving, and free-diving
• Immune function in confinement
