The student learns about:
– The rationale of assessment in physiotherapy
– Anamnesis, inspection and palpation
– Anthropometric measurements
– Endurance, strength, aerobic capacity, assessment of joint integrity and mobility, active and passive flexibility, range of motion measurements, manual testing of muscle strength, dynamometry, instrumental measurement of muscle performance, isometric and isokinetic tests, posture and gait assessment, pain assessment, assessment of daily activities performance, balance assessment, assessment of muscle tone and reflexes, measurements of limb lengths and girths
– Basic clinical test and systematic approach to clinical evaluation of the patient
– Strain tests and clinical test of cardiovascular function
– Active participation in an inter-professional team
