Summary of research topic and field
Proposed topic: Use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to Promote Health Promotion and Prevention [NOV ODSTAVEK] PhD candidates will participate in ongoing research and development projects at UP FVZ in the fields of cybersecurity, the use of ICT in healthcare, and artificial intelligence. Particular emphasis will be placed on: 1) cybersecurity, privacy, and ethics (e.g., safe use of smart devices, prevention of unauthorised access to health data), for both patients and particularly vulnerable groups such as older adults; 2) understanding user behaviour (patients and healthcare professionals) in the use of ICT, including perceived threats of cyberattacks and their impact on technology acceptance, as well as developing measurement instruments to assess the acceptance of these technologies in practice; 3) the use of artificial intelligence in clinical practice and health promotion (e.g., decision support, predictive models, process automation); 4) the development of e-learning in public health; 5) the development of measurement instruments for assessing the use of ICT in healthcare; 6) the development and application of ICT solutions to support decision-making, coordination, and effective response in mass casualty incidents.
