CLINICAL TRAINING IN EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE:
The practical training in the field of emergency medicine represents student’s upgrade of the present study programme with annual repetition of resuscitation procedures within clinical tutorials.
The student
1. has to recognise the basics for identification of vitally threatened patient in hospital and prehospital environment, and official acceptance of treatment protocols.
2. implements basic medical and technical procedures in vitally threatened patients (basic monitoring, treating respiratory tract and ventilation within his/her competences, defibrillation and electroconversion, emergency drugs and ways applying therapies, implementation of haemostasis, treatment of acute wounds (traumatic, burn wounds), usage of devices for the implementation of immobilization and transportation positions etc.).
3. acquires the skills for independent action in situations requiring immediate attention. The student acquires the capacity to mobilize secular population in giving assistance to handicapped individuals.

CLINICAL TRAINING IN COMMUNITY NURSING AND OUTPATIENT CLINICAL CARE:
Student:
1. learns in detail the techniques and methods of work and the role of the nurse in the outpatient clinical care;
2. have a detailed knowledge of the techniques and methods of working in the community and the role of the community nurse in the nursing, medical and interdisciplinary team;
3. is involved in the process of working in the field of nursing care in both the inpatient and the outpatient setting;
4. actively participates in preventive and curative nursing activities at primary care level;
5. independently or under the supervision of a clinical mentor, carry out preventive and curative nursing care visits;
6. provides nursing care at the primary level of health care for the individual, the family and the community using the process method of work; applies theoretical knowledge in working with patients in the community and outpatient care

CLINICAL TRAINING IN WOMEN’S NURSING CARE
The scope of clinical training includes gynaecological and obstetric nursing as well as neonatal nursing.
Student:
1. learns about and is involved in the organisation of the nursing service or the wider healthcare team;
2. plans, implements and evaluates nursing activities in the context of individual patient and/or neonatal care;
3. learn about the specificities of the field of nursing care, integrating theoretical content with clinical practice under the guidance of a clinical mentor;
4. is involved in health promotion and health education work related to women’s health at all levels of healthcare.

CLINICAL TRAINING IN MENTAL HEALTH
1. section: Introducing students into clinical training. Presentation of learning base, work organization and learning objectives in the learning work environment. Introducing students to clinical environment and destigmatisation. Presentation of organizational and learning documentation. Simulation examples of therapeutic communication and documentation of clinical cases.
2. section: Implementation of clinical training in direct teaching environment. Connecting theory and practice the student recognizes mental disorders and learns to observe patients. Implementation: intervention of nursing care the process in patients with mental disorders. Implementation of therapeutic communication process of patients with mental disorders. Conducting case studies. Documenting activities. Reflection of experience with mentor and in the team.
3. section: Evaluation and assessment of effectiveness of clinical training and learning goals. Presentation of case study, assessment of acquired competences of the student.
