Purposes; 2. terminology in the field of nursing; word formation, collocations;
translation of specific terms; 3. development of reading comprehension skills
using authentic English texts from the field of nursing (journal articles,
textbook excerpts, abstracts); 4. development of listening comprehension and
note-taking skills through the use of lectures and documentaries; 5. delivering
impactful public presentations; 6. writing professional texts, citing,
summarizing, paraphrasing; 7. independent study of professional literature in
the English language. The acquisition of English terminology focuses on the
