CLINICAL TRAINING IN THE SURGICAL NURSING FIELD.
Through practical training, the student learns about the following topics:
• the specifics of nursing care in some surgical departments,
• the nursing process in the surgical patient;
• the admission and preparation of the patient for surgery and anaesthesia;
• the risk factors for the patient in the perioperative period;
• the effect of surgery on the patient;
• the care of the patient after the operation and possible complications;
• the role of the nurse in rehabilitation and the nursing care of the patient in the intensive care unit.

During the clinical training, the student develops a case study using the nursing process method and is involved in all nursing interventions carried out in the ward.

CLINICAL TRAINING IN INTERNAL MEDICINE NURSING AND TRANSFUSION MEDICINE
Clinical training is supervised by a clinical mentor in internal medicine/infectious diseases wards/outpatient departments/diagnostic laboratories, intensive care unit, haemodialysis and transfusion medicine facility.
Student:
• practises directly with the patient and is involved in all procedures and interventions within the scope of practice of the registered nurse,
• performs all the procedures in the area of Basic Nursing and Nursing Care of the Internal Medicine Patient and the procedures performed in the laboratory exercises in the second year, which are specifically highlighted in the Summary Folder,
• the process method of working in the management of patients,
• recognises and acts on medical problems/complications in patients within the scope of current competence and competence,
• participates in the diagnostic and therapeutic management of patients within the scope of current competence and competence,
• learn about the working and organisational processes in healthcare settings ,
• learn about the different roles of the nurse in clinical settings.

• Development of evaluation criteria
• Evaluation of health education

CLINICAL TRAINING 2 OPTIONAL
It consolidates knowledge of skills and competences in selected specialised areas of clinical training.
