Research projects focused on the following topics: (i) whole body cryotherapy in the context of muscular injury, (ii) the impact of intermittent vacuum therapy post muscular injury, (iii) combinations of the ice-bath and intermittent vacuum therapy, and (iv) body temperature responses following whole body cryotherapy. The purpose of the studies was to test the effectiveness of numerous recovery techniques that are regularly used in practice on a targeted group of athletes. Based on the results, suggestions were made to optimize post-exercise protocols to accelerate recovery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Study of Body Asymmetries:<\/strong> We have conducted several studies in the field of body (a)symmetries on a large number of athletes from different sports (football, basketball, tennis, running). Body (a)symmetries are measured using an extensive test battery (measurements of strength, power, balance, flexibility and kinematics\/dynamics of cyclic and acyclic movements). Retrospective and prospective questionnaires are used to record the presence of injuries in different groups of athletes, which will help us reveal the details of the relationships between different asymmetries and the risk of injuries. Interventional studies are underway and will be conducted for selected groups. Projekti so se nana\u0161ali na prou\u010devanje: (i) krioterapije celega telesa v kontekstu mi\u0161i\u010dne po\u0161kodbe, (ii) vpliv intermitentne terapije s podtlakom po mi\u0161i\u010dni po\u0161kodbi, (iii) kombinacije ledene kopeli in intermitentne terapije s podtlakom in (iv) temperaturni odzivi telesa po krioterapiji celega telesa. Namen \u0161tudij je bil preveriti u\u010dinkovitost \u0161tevilnih podpornih tehnik, ki se redno uporabljajo v praksi na ciljni skupini \u0161portnikov. Na podlagi rezultatov smo podali predloge za sestavo primernej\u0161ih post-vadbenih protokolov za pospe\u0161evanje okrevanja.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;<strong>Prou\u010devanje telesnih asimetrij:<\/strong> Opravili smo \u0161tevilne \u0161tudije s podro\u010dja telesnih (a)simetrij na ve\u010djem \u0161tevilu \u0161portnikov v posameznih \u0161portnih panogah (nogomet, ko\u0161arka, tenis, teka\u010di). Meritve telesnih (a)simetrij izvajamo z obse\u017eno testno baterijo (meritve jakosti, mo\u010di, ravnote\u017eja, gibljivosti in kinematike\/dinamike cikli\u010dnih in acikli\u010dnih gibanj). S pomo\u010djo retrospektivnih in prospektivnih vpra\u0161alnikov bele\u017eimo prisotnost po\u0161kodb pri omenjenih skupinah, kar nam bo razkrilo podrobnosti povezav razli\u010dnih asimetrij in tveganjem za po\u0161kodbe. Osrednja nit projekta je razvoj novega ergonomskega pripomo\u010dka \u2013 eksoskeleta, za razbremenitev hrbtenice med dvigovanjem bremen in zadr\u017eevanjem prisiljenih polo\u017eajev.\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u0160tudentski projekti (PKP in \u0160IPK)<\/strong>\n<strong>Projekt PKP: SACYC - Izoblikovanje smernic za prepre\u010devanje po\u0161kodb med kolesarjenjem:<\/strong> Kolesarjenje je izredno popularno kot fizi\u010dna aktivnost, kot \u0161port ali kot sredstvo za prevoz. \u0160tudije poro\u010dajo, da ima ve\u010d kot 40% ljudi iz razvitega sveta dostop do kolesa in ve\u010d kot 30% ljudi kolesari vsaj enkrat na leto, \u0161tevilke pa nara\u0161\u010dajo vsako leto. Z nara\u0161\u010danjem \u0161tevila kolesarjev se pove\u010duje \u0161tevilo po\u0161kodb, ki so posledica bodisi padcev, bodisi kroni\u010dnih preobremenitev. V kolesarstvu po\u0161kodbe v grobem razdelimo v dve skupini: 1) travmatske, ki so najpogosteje posledica padcev ali udarcev in 2) ne-travmatske oz. preobremenitvene po\u0161kodbe oz. preobremenitveni sindromi. Preobremenitvene po\u0161kodbe se razvijajo dalj \u010dasa ter verjetnost ponavljanja je ve\u010dja, seveda zlasti \u010de nismo odpravili vzroka, zaradi katerega se je po\u0161kodba razvila. Eden izmed vzrokov je pogosto sprememba v tehniki poganjanja pedal, ki je posledica glikogenskega iz\u010drpanja in sprememb na \u017eiv\u010dno-mi\u0161i\u010dnem nivoju, kar se odra\u017ea v motori\u010dnem obna\u0161anju.&nbsp;Med kolesarjenjem vzorec gibanja v najve\u010dji meri nadziramo preko dr\u017ee telesa, ki je odvisna od geometrijskih lastnosti kolesa. Kolesar in kolo sta v fizi\u010dnem stiku na treh mestih: na krmilu, sede\u017eu in na pedalih. Zato je pomembno, da je kolo prilagojeno tako, da \u010dlove\u0161kemu telesu omogo\u010dajo \u010dim bolj varno gibanje.<\/p>\n<strong>Projekt \u0160IPK: <\/strong><strong>Vpliv \u017eivljenjskega sloga na zdravje mladih \u0161portnikov<\/strong>: Projekt je obravnaval gimnasti\u010darke iz razli\u010dnih vidikov: i) podro\u010dje prehrane, ii) skeletno-mi\u0161i\u010dni sistem, iii) sociolo\u0161ko-psiholo\u0161ka komponenta in iv) didakti\u010dno-metodi\u010dno podro\u010dje obravnave trenerjev.
