The library of the Faculty of Health Sciences has begun to work in the academic year 2005\/2006. Its dedicated to all UP students, professors, researchers and to other employees of UP faculties. The core mission of library is to collect (buy), edit, store and professionally process library material: printed and electronic resources, care for the protection and preservation of material for the future. In order to support the study and research process, it maintains up to date library’s collection of monographs, professional and scientific foreign journals and other publications, especially in the fields of health and medical sciences, dietetics, applied kinesiology, physiotherapy and sports.<\/p>\n
We are saving final project assignments (diploma work, master\u2019s thesis and doctoral thesis) in the Repository of the University of Primorska – RUP, which is a single entry point for access to electronic information resources that are made within University of Primorska. In 2019 all the final works created since the begginning of the faculty has been digitalized and published in RUP.<\/p>\n
With consistent bibliographically material processing for SICRIS, the library support research processes and supports the monitoring of research performances, both for faculty and the Valdotra Orthopedic Hospital.<\/p>\n

Od leta 2013 je Knji\u017enica FVZ organizacijska enota Univerzitetne knji\u017enice Univerze na Primorskem<\/a> (UP UK).<\/p>\n\n\n\n S svojim delovanjem podpira \u0161tudijski in raziskovalni proces, tako da izvaja knji\u017eni\u010dno dejavnost predvsem za \u0161tudente, visoko\u0161olske u\u010ditelje, ostale zaposlene na UP FVZ ter druge uporabnike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gradivo si lahko s \u0161tudentsko oz. \u010dlansko izkaznico izposojate v vseh organizacijskih enotah Univerzitne knji\u017enice, torej v vseh knji\u017enicah fakultet Univerze na Primorskem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Zbirka knji\u017enice UP FVZ na dan 15. 09. 2016 \u0161teje 7582 enot, celotna zbirka Univerzitetne knji\u017enice UP \u0161teje 89982 enot knji\u017eni\u010dnega gradiva iz razli\u010dnih strokovnih podro\u010dij. Knji\u017enica uporabnikom nudi \u0161irok izbor slovenskih in tujih znanstvenih ter strokovnih revij. Knji\u017eni\u010dno gradivo lahko i\u0161\u010dete v spletnem lokalnem katalogu<\/a> (COBISS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
